In the valley

You are not alone, my friend. You are not abandoned or forgotten. And although you may feel the grief will swallow you whole, I know you have a Friend who sticks closer than a brother. I pray you find comfort and peace in the midst of the roiling sadness. I pray you walk through this valley of the shadow at your own pace, confident you are held by our gentle Father. You have nothing to prove, so fall apart and trust yourself to the One who knows. He is with you.
