Farther along

I have been listening to Josh Garrels for years, and I really enjoy circling back to his older music. His music supports my deep thinking and I appreciate how he puts his lyrics together. I have been pondering lately how much effort I, as a sojourner, should put into being articulate among my fellow travelers, and if that effort should also be the same when I communicate with worldlings, or casual observers of my journey. This particular song has been a sweet reminder of how I’ve often been given words for my current situations long before I needed them. Currently, I am reading the end of Luke and the mid-chapters of Revelation and thinking, thinking, thinking on our present circumstances in the land of the free. Oh, Jesus, come soon.
